Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!

I got my reviewer’s sample teas from Teavivre in the mail today. I wouldn’t have gotten them until tomorrow but I decided to stop by my parent’s house today and the box was sitting on top of the mailbox when I got there. I didn’t even know it had been sent so I hadn’t told my parents to keep an eye out. Such a great surprise. I didn’t even know they had been sent.
Absolutely amazing though. I was expecting just a little sample of each tea I had requested, but they sent me a couple little packets of each one. Wow! Super cool. Though one of the little packets had split through the middle and there was all sorts of escaped tea in the larger bag they were packed in. But there still seems quite a bit inside. I’ll be having that instead of the Nightvale tea I had planned on having. Lol.

I returned home to two SUPERAWESOME packages.

One was my order from Yezi that I made on Friday (!) – freakin’ fast! Jin Pin smells so delicious… I love Chinese blacks!

And the other was my RiverTea order, so great!!! Wonderful 3 samples and a little gift, all these free additions to my rather modest order of two teas. It makes me want to order from them again very, very soon and I definitely should not. I am supposed to be on hiatus, and I already cheated once with Yezi ;)

But seriously, I have way too much tea, and even the fact that my husband helps me to drink it in the evenings doesn’t seem to deplete my stash very much :|

OMG I just got Yunnan Gold Tips by Damn fine tea and finger toy beautiful horse

I received a surprise present from a fellow tea-loving friend: a Teavana iced tea pitcher and a dozen blooming teas!!

Upton Tea order! Restocked on Turkish and Scottish blends, and they threw in a free sample of their Irish Breakfast blend for me.

And in the non-physical but still tea related mail, I got the tea class schedule!

We had so much snow today that it went up past my knee, and I assumed the mail hadn’t arrived when I saw no sign of tracks in the snow. (That’s how I track my mailman).

As I am excitedly awaiting a huge order from the US and I don’t want ANYTHING to delay this package now that it’s on the way out I spent half an hour shoveling a nice deep path so that my mailman will be able to get to our porch without anything in his way. (You know you’re addicted to tea when…)

Anyway, once I’d cleared the path to the mail box I noticed that I had tea from VariaTEA! It was such an awesome surprise! Thank you!
