OH GOODIE!!!!
My MANDALA order just came! Of course I just made a cup of matcha and then the doorbell rang, darnit. So I’m not trying one right this second but I’m SUPER excited about the samples Garret sent! I got Colored Species oolong sample and Noble Mark sample AND a tea stain dissolver. This is going to be GREAT…I’ve got so many terribly tea stained white cups :)
I also got my garden seed order today. I’m probably going to start my tomatoes and peppers this weekend or next. Spring is on the way, folks!
This is a “what did I get in the mail this week” post. I received amazing swaps from Suziqzer and bluebelle. I also received the tea that I purchased from Anna. And finally, I received the Shan tea samples! It was a great tea week.
My order from David’s Tea came in today! Pretty fast turnaround time, considering I ordered on Friday. So now I have a new 24 oz teapot, 4 bars of tea-infused chocolate, a thermometer, some new herbal tea, and 3 free samples.
Two items in the mail today: a swap from Angrboda (so excited!) and a package from Beastly Beverages, a fandom tea blender in the UK. Sadly, the Beastly Beverages package was a bit rough around the edges and pretty beat up.
I know, right? I’d suggest if you do order, ask her to pack it up with some bubble wrap or something – mine came with zero protection from the post office, just in a bag.

Yesterday I got an awesome package from Sil (thank you!!) and today I received a package with two beautiful tea tins from a friend from home. Both of which were complete surprises and thus even more exciting!
Got my first Mandala order today, yay!!!
To say I’m impressed is an understatement! First and foremost, service and communication were impeccable.
Love the packaging, It’s a pretty large order and everything was well put together. Got 4 beautiful samples that were chosen by Garret according to my tastes and he also included a very interresting and useful little surprise!
I am now a faithful customer :-)

My other little pest Dexter3657 closed the deal, I knew I was going to be forever hooked when I tasted Wild Monk and Milk Oolong. And from the both of you, I still have a few samples to try.

I have not..but terri has! my first ever cake was Wild Monk Pu’erh cake… might be the only one i buy for years..but it was my first.
Oh well, it’s my first too!! never really wanted to commit before, but it has stolen my heart :-) why do you say “for years”, did you buy one of the larger ones? I just bought a 100g cake…which is NOT going to last me for years, lol.
No…I just have no idea how to store them properly so I don’t wan not to get carried away…maybe when we buy a house. That and I keep not wanting to open it cause it’s so pretty lol

Oh, now I get it Sil. And I don’t know how to store them either!! But I will find out now that I’m getting more serious about it. I’ve been in the black and oolong train for a looong time, now I am embarking in the pu’erh train, bon voyage to me!
Lol, Dexter, I don’t get it either, when I looked on Saturday, tracking said it was still in the USA!!! I was so expecting to see YOU got yours on this post…bummer. Tomorrow? Maybe?

I got my Adagio order today! The first shipping of this order got lost, otherwise it should have arrived the Weds before valentines. In that theme, I got some of their valentines, earl grey moonlight, Scorpio, and some Tea cookies.
I was wanting to try their cookies before I made my own for coworkers, but since I presented my Thai tea cookies at work on Friday, that quest failed. They are interesting though in taste profile, not to my liking texture wise.
My Steepster Select box came today!
OMG, the Tea Gods are good to me this week…what have I done to deserve this???
Another awesome order came in today from Zen Tea! I am super pleased, they have included not one, not two, not three, not four… But FIVE large samples!!!
I’m sipping on their Keemun right now, boy have I missed this tea…yum, sooo goood!!!
My extra special awesome swap from Ysaurella arrived! just in time to make me eat my words about getting my cupboard under control lol :)
