Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!
I got my Yixing teapot!!! I’m starting with the Economy Set from Teavivre which came with some little cups as well. I also got some of their Superfine Keemun Fragrant, an oolong from them and several samples of Harney decafs and some Keemun Treasures. I will season my little Yixing this weekend. Am looking forward to a tea binge!

Can officially post that I picked up my Nina’s tea order from my florida house! I am so loving the little red tin. I have to say, some seriously awesome customer service from Nina’s! Cavo, you’re going to love it! A few extras thrown in as well that we’ll be able to share :)
Not quite something I got in the mail, but I went rooting around in a crawlspace in the basement to find a teapot I hadn’t used since university. I found it! Now it’s been washed, and it looks like the capacity is 1.5 cups (12 oz) – perfect for small, frequent steeps.
I just received my order DellaTerra and I’m already getting the kettle ready!
I can’t give opinions on any of those… haven’t tried them, but then, I’ve shyed away from citrus themed teas so far.

I had to look up no bueno :) & I wasn’t expecting you to offer samples ..I haven’t had a craving for them (citrus based teas) yet and it doesn’t help that my dad used to like lemonade and iced tea mixed together and would practically try prove to you that you liked it, even when I didn’t… You always had to try it every time there happened to be both in the fridge at the same time. Blech. He thought if he liked something, everyone should like it, and couldn’t understand if you didn’t.

So you’re saying I remind you of your father…very interesting. /nods and takes notes. hehehe, jk. What’s strange is that I’ve been known to mix lemonade and ice tea together too! But I promise that I wont feel bad if you don’t like any of the fruity teas. I’m usually not a fruit tea fan myself because I prefer hot teas and those are usually better chilled. Sorry, I picked up the “no bueno” from a previous co-worker that always made me laugh by saying the line right after something tragically failed (like a bookcase falling apart). We shared a dark sense of humor.
The Orange & Lemon are surprisingly not very citrusy so you might like them. At least by trying them, you can be certain that you don’t like them. Plus I still have a few other samples to send you too, so I figure it wouldn’t hurt to throw them in. ;)
I don’t know if I would say you remind me of my father.. As he would say try this and like it. You say try this on your own time and I won’t care if you don’t like it. I love him, but sometimes his tastes for this are not fitting to mine.
Funny how we pick up communication traits and pass them along in random conversation .. I probably do things like that too.
I will have an open mind and give them a fair try. I might just be surprised by them. I’ve seen many good reviews about the Della Terra chiffons, but haven’t been able to talk myself into a sample/1 oz size yet.
I’m hoping to place an order or two & maybe make a trip to a tea shop or two in the next few weeks for a birthday treat. I’ll have to set some goodies aside for you when I do :).
I know what you mean. :-) I meant to send some out yesterday but my daughter had Girl Scout cookies site sales to attend. It’s a hectic week so far. I’m going to send a few out a few samples today, hopefully in time to catch the mailman!
The cremes are a nice in-between to start with. It’s nice because you can still enjoy them hot, rather than feeling like they always need to be cold brewed or iced. If I end up ordering more teas that I think you’ll like, I’ll send some samples your way!
