Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!
I got my order from Cameron Tea. Trying my first one, Taiwan Sun Moon Lake black tea this morning and I’ll write a tasting note.
Really exciting mail day! I won a contest on Facebook sponsored by The Persimmon Tree, and this arrived today. Thank you so much!
I opened them all last night, and let me tell you – those suckers are chock full of tea! Right up to the brim.

Happy birthday miss be!!! Hey, it’s your party, you can say it as many times as you want to :-) getting so much tea on your birthday is so awesome!!!
That’s freakin’ awesome! Sounds like the best birthday. :)
Hope you are having a great day outside of tea-stuff too.
Happy Birthday to You!! I’ll spare you from my singing the whole song… But I hope it was wonderful & that you had some time to enjoy your amazing tea haul today. I don’t know how you managed to get it all delivered on your birthday… Pretty great!
Happy Birthday, and wonderful that you were able to get some nice tea treats to celebrate!
Is it Christmas? I received packages from Deliriums Frogs and Marzipan and the Butiki TTB in the last 2 days. Where to start, what to do… basically I have to do the Butiki box in the morning (no caffeine later in the day) so, darn it, I guess I’ll have to drink lots and lots of tea.
Thank you Deliriums Frogs and Marzipan. A special thanks to Stacy/ Butiki teas for sharing the box.
Got a mystery pack from MissB today! There’s like 17 different things in there.. haha although I’m so excited that I may have miscounted. I’m new to Steepster (and kind of to tea in general) so I’m super excited to try a bunch of teas :P
Marzipan sent me some tea, and I’m beyond excited….
Butiki Pumpkin Milkshake and Ruby Pie, Della Terra’s Birthday Cupcake, 52Teas Hindbaersnitter, and Harney’s decaf vanilla comoro….
My very first order from Yunomi.us came in! I’m very excited to try all of the ones I received. However, it appears that 2 of the free samples I requested weren’t included, and they gave me a sample of a tea that I didn’t order. Weird.
EDIT: I emailed Yunomi.us about this, and they responded very quickly. The ones I requested and didn’t receive were actually free samples that I added onto my order. They told me they have limited supplies of the samples that they give out for free, and they had run out of those ones, so they added a different sample in as a replacement. So I’m not too upset. Mainly I’m just happy that they responded so quickly.
My Yunomi.us order came today. I got Sakura tea (which sounded good), and Sencha Lime (maybe they ran out of what I ordered, but it looks interesting. I’ve never had a lime green tea before.)
I was hoping to get a large box in from BC, but came home to my Whispering Pines order. I’m not really disappointed – this order was amazing. I also love the handwritten note, and the fact that each bag was obviously packaged just for me, with fancy hand-writing on each bag.
This was my first order, and I KNOW there will be more. #thumbsup
tiger assam and spring keemun from Andrews & dunham….. trendy packaging, 2 badges that say “The time for tea is NOW”….can’t wait to try them!
The tiger is nice, I think I like the Butuki morning ones a little more though.
marzipan, I agree… for the times when I don’t want a higher-end up (aka just a cup to gulp down) and just want something “simple”, it’s good to have middle-end teas around. But Butiki has pretty much refined my palate to the point where if I want a “great cup to savor” I won’t reach for anything else (well, except for maybe Laoshan Black….but even that isn’t quite as refined!)
