I got a very small tea strainer in a very large box, through Amazon. It’s a pretty tea strainer, though; one of those English designs that sit on your cup to catch the leaves as you pour. A gift for a friend who is a bit of an Anglophile.

The strainer is fine wire mesh and is shown sitting in its fitted drip bowl. Looks to be quite nicely made — no rough edges or crappy solder joints. Color is shiny silver, darker than shown.
I want that! Exactly like that. How much was it? I have a whole dollar in credits at amazon lol

Yessss!!! I got my first package from Verdant Tea.. My shu and sheng and as a free sample, the flowering green jasmine tea! My first pu’erh and my first flowering tea… I can’t wait to break into the shu this evening. :D

Ditto, love swapping…just wish half of you didn’t live in Canada with the ridiculous shipping rates I have to pay to send there.
yeah, after my first swap to tattooed I have to turn down canadians most of the time- $7 is way too much to be spending for swaps :/
It’s gotta be since they implemented the new shipping things. It used to be $4 at most. It use to cost me double to ship in Canada than to ship to the US.
When shipping use bigger envelopes so they are thin & can be sent regular mail.
Yup I still use a bubble mailer & they check to see if it fits through a plastic slot.
Swapping is awesome! I’m not letting myself do any more swaps till I’ve tried everything I got in the mail…I’m afraid I won’t ever get through it all! Its hard to have the willpower though :)
