while I didn’t get anything in the mail today, I did make it to a local tea store called The Pleasures of Tea and made a purchase.

Genmaicha and strawberry colada (hoping it makes a nice iced tea…have to add tea to it) and some Irish breakfast from DavidsTea. Ordered last week when they had their free shipping promo… Very impressed with the speed of delivery (USPS 2-day!) and the care they took with packaging it and the presentation… Got samples of Goji pop, strawberry rhubarb parfait (plan to ice these, too) and Cold 911 in hopes that just having it in the cabinet will prevent me from succumbing to the germ fest that work became the last couple of weeks. :). Just read about Lupicia on here last night and figured out we have one a few miles up the freeway in Costa Mesa, so I might have more to report later. Still hoping to find a flavored oolong that I like…

what do you guys do with the YS packages? they dont reseal.. luckily i found some small plastic bags that seal, and i cut out the labels and threw em in.
i find those YS bags are better than ziplock ones. they have “0” smell. next time you dont have to transfer it ;)
You can buy an impulse sealer and reseal them the same way they come.
Cheap on eBay. Here is what I use.

You can probably check and find one cheaper. Only takes about 2 seconds to reseal one. Put the end in and hold it till it clicks and you are done.
You can do chip bags and other stuff as well. When I do swaps I usually seal them so they don’t get loose in the box or envelope.
theres a device for everything.. maybe down the road i’ll get a sealer. i could use old resealable bags ive kept and label them.. or do you think the old aroma might invade the new tea i put in?
I am picky about repacking. I normally use new bags on everything. I don’t want any cross-contamination going on.
Yunnan Sourcing sells good resealable bags from the China site. That is if you want larger bags. I don’t think they sell sample size bags.
Today I got my order from Streetshop88, ripe tea, raw tea and a Yixing container that’s was supposed to be 850ml but seems a little smaller.
