DavidsTea taking the San Francisco Bay Area by storm

Man is this ever awesome.

As a Canadian living in San Francisco, was I psyched or WHAT for the first DavidsTea to open in SF. Since then, they’ve been opening like crazy. It rocks.

There is another brand new one opening on Chestnut St in the Marina area which should be awesome for lunchtime goodness. The one in the Westfield downtown is epic, and the staff is completely amazing and friendly and sweet. Beats the crap outta Teavana and their terrible sales practices!! So happy to have some more opportunity for tasty tea and great service. Oh yeah, and another pack of “Oh, Canada” maple syrup rooibos, of course :)

I’m a Canadian living in the Los Angeles area. DavidsTea needs to open a store here! ERRRRR! Not sure how well it would do here though.

What good tea stores are in your area? I’m about to be in Santa Monica for a month and it looks like several of the stores listed on Steepster have closed.

I’ve only been to Lupicia in Torrance here. Other than that, theres a couple tea houses that are neat but pricey.

I love the David’s in SF! But I do wish they’d open one on the other side of town – I work/go to school at SF State.

I was just there! The mall store seemed kinda small, but it was nice. I got to smell so much tea. If only I could go more often.

Which location is the mall store? Do you think they had fewer teas?

Had no idea about Chestnut St location which is walking distance, as is the one in Burlingame from the Caltrain. Now need one in South Bay. My guess is Palo Alto or San Jose if that happens but secretly hoping it’s my neighborhood.

They so need one in downtown San Jose.

Hey everybody, just wanted to let you all know that our Chestnut location is opening this Saturday! We’re also hoping to open others later this year in/around the SF area. Stay tuned for updates!

Please open one in the inner or outer sunset! :)

My only issue with sunset district is it’s already hard to find free parking, or any parking at all sometimes. I don’t think any of my older relatives who live there would care for blended teas either. Hoping for Claire’s sake though; I’d also be glad if the supermarkets carried a selection of DT’s just like some Japanese markets have selected Lupicia teas.

I live in the inner sunset, so I sure wouldn’t mind one on this side of town!

Great! I love your Burlingame store and would love to see more on the Peninsula (e.g., San Carlos, Redwood City or Palo Alto…all have great foot traffic/downtown areas).
