Simpson & Vail shipping
Does anyone know if Simpson & Vail ships to Canada, or what the prices are for shipping? I’m not getting any info from the site.
Heh, I had this same problem a while ago. Before the shipping rate increases, they certainly did ship to Canada, and I imagine they still do. Shipping is calculated after you place your order, and they charge you the actual amount. So it will be expensive, but not unfair (except that USPS rates are unfair).
I hear you…. It was pretty expensive when I ordered. Perhaps you can make up a list of the teas you want and pop them an email with your location and ask for a shipping quote.
My first order they didn’t charge for shipping for some reason maybe it was a promotion, my new order they didn’t either but my order was over $50 and was sent to a Kinek location so I can pick it up duty free.
Yea the shipping would have been $33 for a $48 order. Ummm no thanks!
Tattoed_tea – if you’re truly interested in trying something from them let me know….I have ways of making tea show up at my door that don’t cost extra for Canadians to get…aaaand I’m likely placing an order there within the next month or so. Just send me a pm :)

$18.60 with shipping rates starting at $12.65 to Canada
Fortunately canada has tons of tea sites as well. Sorry this american one has high shipping costs to canadaland.
Yea not really. It’s absurd because we all know that they are making money off of shipping.
Totally! I just shipped a little over two ounces of tea to the states for $2.20!
Yes….though a lot of Canadian sites have high shipping minimums and the shipping is pretty bad within Canada :(
Would it be cheaper to have it sent to someone in the US and have them mail it to you?
With the current rates, I doubt it. I sent of a bubble mailer to Canada a week ago that couldn’t have weighed more than a few ounces and it was $9 to ship!
Yea with the new rates it’s hard to say. Because there would be a minimum of $6 to a US address. Plus whatever to here. Yet I just received a large, light package from the US yesterday & the shipping was only $13
Nope..but it is cheaper to send it within the us and have someone walk across the border with a bag full of tea hahaha. :) I love my friend.
