Once in a while they have buy 2 mugs for $30. Seems like that would be a good way to help those who are undecided.

I came home with a beautiful elephant mug, which I love so much. I bought it today cuz they were going fast, I’ll pick up the other five over the next week. (please god don’t let the summer stuff be my style or I am so screwed.)

But a huge variety to drink from? :D

Hahah. That’s an issue! I think I’ll snag the elephant, and then see what summer has to offer. (At least stagger it). The upside is that I can offer friends tons of tea when they come to visit and everyone can have their own cup, instead of using a teapot.

I am doing the same, I got the purple timolino, and I still really want the peacock mug. And the teapot/cups. I am going to wait until my birthday, and HOPEFULLY the peacock won’t sell out.

The pom tango looks delicious. I like both those fruits.

I have been agonizing over the fact that I cannot afford one of the new mugs right now, and I realized… my birthday is coming up! Now to decide whether I like the blue or clear peacock one more.

Although it is not my birthday, I am agonizing over the same decision!

I say go for the clear. The blue is nice, except for the YELLOW!!!!!!!! on the inside. xD; Don’t get me wrong, I like yellow, but I’m not a big fan of random YELLLOOOOOWWWW!!!!!! on an otherwise classy mug.

I am leaning towards the clear one, it’s just so classy! And my mom is in love with the elephant cup, the whole line is just gorgeous.

I have a clear mug already (sadly without paisley) and I prefer it to my coloured one. The lid is better for the infuser and seeing the tea colour is lovely!

Wish I still lived near a DavidsTea to pick up a clear peacock one! Maybe I can get one when I next go to Chicago…

I totally want the peacock mug as well (the white one). It looks so beautiful. Hopefully I can stop by before I go to the coffee and tea festival. Does anyone know their store hours?

The ones in NY are open quite late, I believe till 10? Might be till 11 in the west village.

I picked up the elephant perfect tea mug and the purple timolino today! Yay! I also got small amounts of copabanana and coconut oolong to try. Ooh, and they were sampling Pom tango, and it was pretty good. :)

How is the coconut oolong?

Small
Chizakura said 2013-03-08 22:39:00 -0500

It tastes like toasted coconut :)

Ugh, want! Mustn’t buy more tea!

Yes! I tasted coconut oolong yesterday, and it is a very powerful coconut flavor. Since I haven’t really had a straight oolong, now I feel the need to try one. I liked this one though!

Yay yay! :D I managed to convince my sister to take me out to DavidsTea. :) Came home with the elephant mug, and purchased 50g of the coconut oolong (that was also what I had there to drink) and grabbed 20g of the Copabanana. Wish I’d noticed prior that there were artificial ingredients in those two. U_U (I try to dodge the chemicals as much as possible. Ah well, I’ll still drink them) I also grabbed 100g of Organic Cream of Earl Grey, which despite my earlier tasting note, has become a cupboard staple. xD

I also smelled nearly every tea in there, almost went in to purchase another cup of tea, and very nearly purchased the Paisley mug with plans of purchasing it next time I’m there. cough

Guys don’t feel bad about all the mugs, I had seven friends over last night and was able to give everyone their own type of tea to try :) I could have used one more mug though, which justifies me getting one from this collection :)

My problem though is that I already have a load of mugs to begin with. ^^; Now I’ve discovered a new type of mug (infuser mugs :D) and now I want that many more. If I was living on my own it’d be no problem, but I get … a look everytime I buy a new one.
