This cup I got my girlfriend. She hates Los Angeles, so naturally I got her a spiffy “I love LA” cup.

Any china tea cup in my collection. They all have beautiful scenes on them, so I choose whichever I’m in the mood for that day. However, there are some that tend to make one think more of say Summer, Spring, or Harvest time and I use them accordingly. I only have one Christmas teacup. Oh, and I do have with an Irish scene so I’ll probably use that a come St. Pat’s day. :)

Sadly I only have one teacup. It’s a Japanese style one that’s tan on the top fading to dark brown at the bottom and has a wavy texture on the outside. ^^ I picked it up at a garage sale last year. Unfortunately I didn’t get the teapot that went with it ‘cause it was before I started drinking tea more seriously and was like ’I’ll never use that’. I’m still kicking myself over that.
When I want a larger amount of tea, I’ll grab my Marauder’s Map Mug I got at Wizarding World of Harry Potter a few years ago….Or my Tardis mug…Or my Aristocats Marie mug….I have too many mugs. XD Not that that stops me from shopping for them at thrift shops. Lol!

Oh yes- the downfall of thrift stores. I have my own collection too :) I must admit, when I look at new glassware I just balk at the price- after shopping at thrift stores, brand-new items just seem way to expensive, especially since I am sure anything I buy I will just be bored with in a year or so anyway!

I just got my newest favorite mug- very exciting :) For a grand total of $0.50, I got a nice double-walled clear glass cup, apparently a Knob Creek giveaway, I believe (from what I see on eBay). The name Knob Creek is etched on the side, but is not that prominent.

I love it! The tea is so beautiful in it. I am not sure why, but this is nicer than my regular clear glass mugs. Maybe because the glass is thinner/ more delicate and you can see the tea better. It is too bad that the store had only one. I will definitely be on the lookout for more.

Whichever one holds my current cup of tea?

There’s a floral mug I really like.
