Stranded with no tea.

So I am storm stayed with no tea. cries

Roads are closed. I can’t get home. I know I have a tea package waiting for me in the mail box (it’s outside). I will be frozen now. Minus 22 tonight. cries some more. Frozen tea.

And there is no tea here. A Keurig sleepytime tea (chamomile) is all there is. Yuckilicious!!

I need something to distract my tears. Please help…

If your teas are sealed and dry, freezing temps shouldn’t hurt it. :) Don’t worry! Your situation reminds me of the time Sandy hit NYC and lower Manhattan was out of commission in terms of electricity for days. Hot coffee was scarce and high in demand. Hopefully, you’ll only be stuck for a short period of time!

Anyways, if you have internet, give these sites a try. I use them to procrastinate, but it might help get you through the night.

Ahh, that’s terrible! :( At least you have net access; that’s better than nothing. Means the power is still on… right?

well…you can practice deep breathing for starters, to calm your heart.
close your eyes and imagine that you are in your most favorite place (a vacation spot is good), they call it a one-minute vacation.

you can even imagine drinking a warm cup of your favorite discontinued tea! your brain can’t tell the difference between reality and imagination and will release relaxation stuffs to make you feel as happy as if you are really there!

hang in there dear Lala!

Still stuck. Jeez! It never ends. At least got a Red Rose at the restaurant this morning. Might have to go try to buy some tea at the store just to tide me over. Fingers crossed this weather ends soon.

Where did you sleep? Are you stranded in an office?

Lala said

I slept on the couch of a co-worker. Her cat tried to kill me in my sleep by laying on my face. But its ok, I still love cats.
I am just thankful I didn’t have to sleep in the office.
