tea and flu

What tea’s do you guys/girls drink when u are stuck to bed because off the flu? Its been 2 years ago that i had the flu but i woke up today with it and i can’t almost hold anything in my tummy today :(

Oh, no. If you can’t hold anything down, I would suggest not drinking any tea at all. Take small sips of water instead, or clear soda like 7-UP. The reason? If you drink a tea and then get sick, it’s possible you won’t want to ever drink that tea again. And that would be a shame! Please feel better!

If you really really want to drink tea, I’d go with a ginger and/or mint. They help settle stomach upset.

Indeed mint is very good for stomach problems. Tried it myself!

I agree with the ginger and mint suggestions. Stick with herbal. I have always heard that mild flavored carbonated stuff is good too.

Ginger lemon. Fresh is better but too much work when I’ll, twinings or Ahmad’s tea bags will do – a teaspoon of honey also helps. Hope you get better fast!

Ginger is amazing, it works miracles! I’d say drink something with as much of that in as possible (lemon, mint etc, also really help)…
