What's your ideal quantity when buying tea? 1 oz., 2 oz., 4 oz., etc.?

I like the option of sample packs, and so I can taste test. 2oz is a bit much for me to drink right away but over time/trades with friends I usually use it up. Though 1oz bags would probably be great for gifts for friends who you weren’t sure would like the flavor? Enough for them to try and pass along if they don’t like it without clogging up their cupboards.

I’m all for 2 oz. If I don’t like something, it seems easy enough to trade the rest with someone else for an oz. of this and an oz. of that. I don’t like the 2 cup thing because I have a Breville and I want to do a whole pot of something when I’m trying it.

When trying a new tea I prefer to start with 1 oz or less. Then if I love it I’ll buy more, usually around 4 oz. If i don’t like it I’ll have less than an ounce hanging over my head.
