What is your favorite smelling dry leaf tea?

I’m leaving the empty sample pouch of Della Terra’s Pineapple Upside Down Cake open as potpourri in my house right now. It smells amazing, the empty bag. The other tea whose aroma is beyond amazing is Butiki’s Maple Pecan Oolong. I have the best smelling mailbox in town when that shipment arrives.

What teas would you use as potpourri if you didn’t want to miss out on drinking them? Or teas that you would use as potpourri because they smell much better than they taste?

Second the Pineapple Upside Down Cake :)

Butiki’s Creamy Eggnog is the one where I ‘huff’ the bag like a maniac though

I love opening a canister in the morning and getting that first whiff of jade green Alishan. Flowers and springtime (even if its the winter picked tea).

Japanese greens, especially kukicha, sakura sencha, and gyokuro. Sometimes I open the packets just to smell their aromas. Also, matcha – but I only smell that after I prepare it.

I can never get enough of our Earl Grey de la Crème… funny how I used to be indifferent to the bergamot flavor, now it’s one of my top morning steeps.
