I’m going to follow the advice of others and try to drink the oldest first. Unfortunately I went to the NYC Coffee & Tea Festival and did some major damage.

I have some Lupicia teas from 2011 (Limited Edition) that I have put off drinking because they were… limited edition. Since I’m going to Hawai’i in October, I’m determined to drink them all up before then!

But if you drink the oldest first you are always drinking old tea. Better to drink what requires freshness first and your favorites. my take.anyway.

but if you drink the old tea fast you get back to the fresh teas again :)

I did a big sipdown today and got below 150 for the first time in nearly a year. And of course, the sampler set I ordered from KallieBoo! arrived in the afternoon mail, so I end the day at 159.

I am inching toward 200, and as I continue to “find” long lost teas (I am moving), I fear that I may surpass that number in the days to come. I’ll try to do some sipdowns to compensate!

I have so many delicious teas, I need to stop shopping. Period.

I am done.
I am so completely done.
I need to stop buying tea because I AM DONE

Legit just spent $150 on myself in San Francisco yesterday and now I have enough teas to play with so no more buying teas for me.
Am on hiatus.
Will stop buying teas.
Will drink all the teas in my sipdown pile and then some.
Tea parties for one, here I come!

Excellent! Not one word about tea ware..
I’m just looking for “the one pot to rule them all” honest!

I managed to make it through March without buying any tea.

Though I did buy some new books.

Oy. I’m heading to Taiwan in about a month, so no tea purchases until then! I also need to get in a whole lot of sipdowns. I’ve got 181 different teas, exclusive of the 12 or so that I picked up last time I was in Taiwan. Sipdown goal: get the base count to 150. So I need 2-3 sipdowns a day. Oof.

you’re very lucky, Taiwanese teas are among m favourite.I wish I could go there :)

I’m definitely excited. My SO is living there right now. The one up side of being so far apart is that I now have an awesome vacation destination :)

whoa, I thought I was bad with about 30. hundreds, wow, I actually might have gotten there soon myself, but having some heart issues and need to cut back.

I just got about 12 Oolongs from 2 different companies. They literally arrived a day after getting out of the hospital so I got a while before I order anything new. Need to cut back about 50-75% of what I was drinking. So hard though with all the new spring teas hitting the market. Every time I get one of those teavivre notices I have to chain my arm down.

I’ll probably still crack and grab a couple fresh greens.

I’ve had to cut down on my caffeine intake due to migraines. Herbals have filled the gap somewhat, but greens and oolongs somehow keep piling up…
