Hey - anyone else out there from the Kansas City Metro area?

I know there’s two of us – anyone else?

I’m asking because a local tea shop is having a tea basics class on the 17th – it might be fun to show up and take it, and meet some other Steepsterites.

Count me in. Hoping to see another reply. Surely we aren’t the only KC Steepsters???

I lived in Olathe for almost 2 years, and most of my family lives in the KCMO area. I’m only a few hours away! I’d love to come to a future class – I’d just need a longer heads-up so I could arrange it with my work and with my family. This month I’m working every Saturday :P But please keep me in mind for future classes!

I’m a little too far east for that… I don’t think I’d want to make the 4 hour drive >_>

I wish there were a few more tea shops around here… :-/

It is a showcase for Kansas-made goods and Kansas Tourism. We just thought it would be a good place to expose more people to our products. We’re working on doing more festivals and shows. We are also going to have a booth at the Riverfest here in Wichita two weeks after the Kansas Sampler Festival.

So, I’m thinking I’d want to go to the morning class – anyone else?

I’m thinking about the morning also. Do we need to reserve slots?

Hey everyone!

TeaParT and we were talking about having another meet up – and I thought if we gave some extra notice we might be able to get some of those close-ish people to be able to attend. I’m on a camping trip June 11th through the 20th, but any other weekend in June would work for me.

Anyone out there interested?

You may be the busiest of us all – could you suggest a few times that might work for you? Then we can try to work around you.

I’ll see if I can swing anything. Unfortunately June and July are the equivalent of the retail holiday season for libraries (especially when involved in the kids’ programming). I’ll take a look at my schedule, but I know that the last weekend won’t work since I’m working that one. 12th is the only quasi-possible at this point.

My wife grew up in Ottawa, Kansas. When we first got married we lived in KC. We are looking for work in the KC area as we’d like to move back down there from Wyoming. The winters up here are way too long.
