Coolest/most beautiful tea cup?

As the title says, what do you find to be the most beautiful tea cup?

I love Franz’s teacups. I think his florals and insects are gorgeous. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=franz+teacups&FORM=HDRSC2

You can find a lot of cool cups and pots on Etsy, I really like these two

I love browsing Etsy for tea things!

Me too! I think I might have a problem getting sucked in and spending too much time browsing tea stuff haha

So different from the first link, yet still beautiful. I love how there are such diverse styles and all of them so alive!

My favourite…. well I have 2, but tend to favour one. The clear branch mug from DAVIDs. I also adore their mug tails, bear mug.

Ooh yes that’s a lovely mug! I love their perfect glass mugs! I have the peacock glass mug, well once I can get to my father’s place and pick it up.

My perfect mug got smashed :( it was good while it lasted!

My clear branch one cracked when it tipped over too, I was very sad, was my favorite mug! :( I have yet to find a replacement for it too.

Mine was glass…pretty thin, too! I find I prefer smaller cups now anyway shrug

Love that set. I have a serious weakness for pottery…

I saw this one the other day and almost got it for my mother for mother’s day. It is beautiful and supposedly more sturdy (and dishwasher safe) than it looks

I have one of those! Pretty sure I grabbed mine from Ebay. It is beautiful. I can’t vouch for dishwasher safety though, since I’m too paranoid to put it in there. :)

I wouldn’t know, but it says dishwasher safe in the description (but not for microwave). Still pretty either way!

You can definitely get it cheaper on ebay. Just searching Peacock Teacup brought up a handful of different listings.
I almost got one myself the other day but I’ve been eyeing this owl teapot set that I want more. Thinking of getting it for myself for a birthday present. Lol.

I had the coolest teacup. It was a mug, actually, but I loved it because it had Van Gogh’s starry night on it … and it broke about three months ago. I miss it. :(

I can’t look at that painting without the song coming to mind. A gorgeous painting and a very sad song.

Makes me think of the exploding TARDIS from Doctor Who! I am sorry to hear it broke though, it’s very upsetting to lose a favourite mug.

If you have any museums in your town, you might want to consider looking for a replacement one in their gift shop. Presuming you want to replace it, I don’t know…

I hinted for one for Valentine’s day. Nope. I hinted for one for Mother’s day … another big nope.

I am going to have to go get one myself. :(

I have gotten very attached to drinking my tea out of a double walled glass cup because to me nothing is cooler than seeing the tea itself. I use these: http://www.davidstea.com/bubble-pack-of-2-glass?&TF=56526AAF4041&DEID= and love them. Great size for my hand. I fill it about halfway from my thermal travel mug so I’m always drinking nice hot tea from it.
