Kinds of tea that make you sick?

I am not sure why but I used to be able to drink Pu Erh (sheng and shou) without any problem and then one day I drank one and got a terrible migraine. Now I cannot even smell Pu Erh without getting at least vertigo…or if I am really unlucky a migraine.

I miss Pu Erh :(

Black tea. Almost universally. Especially on an empty stomach. I’ll risk it to try something new every now and again, but never more than a cup. Makes me sad.

Green teas hurt my belly sometimes

Flavoured, fruity teas that aren’t cold.
I’m starting to get a hang of French Earl, but whenever I try the fruity teas on sample in T2 I feel like throwing up.

It’s not that they taste awful, they taste good really, but the sweetness and the fact that it’s warm makes me nauseous.

Harney & Sons’ Hot Cinnamon Spice make me feel quite ill. Too much cinnamon, I suppose. As I said in my tasting note, I don’t have a gallbladder anymore, so that may have contributed to sad tummy :(

Hmmm, I also no longer have a gallbladder and notice too much cinnamon makes for a sad tummy. Maybe we gallbladder-less folk cannot handle it?

Perhaps. I haven’t noticed sensitivity to any other spices/seasonings since my surgery, but maybe cinnamon is a special case.

Cinnamon and really hot peppers are the only spice I have noticed causing me problems. Hopefully no other ones will pop up.

This may sound odd, but Earl Grey tea and Jasmine tea tear up my stomach.
