Here are the Steepster Book Club selections to vote for! Please comment to vote for ONE book. The book that gets the most votes will be the selection for MAY, the book that comes in second will be for JUNE, and the book that comes in third will be for JULY.
Voting will be open until midnight on Sunday April 25th. I will post the winner shortly after, and then as soon as I get my hands on the book I will divide it into weekly sections to read, totaling four. There will be a thread for each of the sections as to avoid spoilers.

Oy – just one? I think that I’m rather intrigued by all the nominees, but the one that I’d feel the saddest not to have as part of the first 3 selections is For All the Tea in China.
in order of preference (only count the first if we must only do 1) since we’re picking for the next 3 months
1. The 4-Hour Workweek (since i just got it)
2. the Hitchhiker’s Guide To the galaxy (i love it!)
3. For All the Tea in China: How England Stole the World’s Favorite Drink and Changed History (sounds fun)

The book of tea” by Okakura Kakuzo -it’s not necessarily my 1st choice, but it’s my 1st choice I wouldn’t feel pressured to buy lol.
OK, I vote for "any/all of the Hitchhiker’s Guide books " just because I want it/them to make the top 3, and I could use a light, fun read sometime in the next few months!
I’ll put my vote on Hitchhiker’s Guide, although I hope we also get around to Blood, Sweat, and Tea and Alice in Wonderland!

Changing vote to For All The Tea in China after reading the breaking news. Sorry Hitchhiker’s Guide, I know you await me at my library.
I will vote for “For All the Tea in China” noting, however, that it is a recent book out in hard-cover and many libraries will not have it or will have a long waiting list for it. It has received excellent reviews and a lot of publicity making it that much more difficult to obtain unless one can spring for the hard-cover.
I am signed up (number 11) to get a copy from my local library. I have no idea how swiftly I will move from number 11 on a wait-list to having it in my hands.I didn’t realize this was so new, so I also added it to my library request. Although my library doesn’t let me know where in line I am :(
I’m prepared to purchase this through Amazon (hardcover only $11.69) if my library’s copy is checked out. I think that there’s only a few fairly new titles on this list, so hopefully we’ll be able to keep availability issues to a minimum ::crosses fingers::
@Meghann – I can’t imagine why your library won’t give you that info. I give that info out all the time and as long as I don’t say who is in line then it’s not really an issue. That really stinks :(
@Rabs-I’ll stop in and talk to them and see if they’ll let me know what position I’m in. I live in a smaller town that doesn’t have it on their website, like the much larger city did that I lived in last year. It’s always a surprise as to when I’ll get things. I kind of like knowing how many people are ahead of me. Otherwise I’ll just order from amazon for 11.69!
