I just posted this yesterday. Blendered frozen watermelon with green tea. It was DELICIOUS. I plan on experimenting with different types of tea.

Can’t go past matcha (powdered green tea) for a smoothie. Try 1-3 tspn (I like about 3-4 tspn, but always best to start with less and add more to taste), a cup of cold milk, and a good dolop of vanilla icecream (optional). If omitting the icecream you will probably want to add some honey or simple sugar syrup. Yum! Enjoy.

I wonder if anyone has tried grinding tea (other than matcha) into powder and making various smoothies. Hmmm, I’ll have to try it!

Others on here have tried and I think largely resulted in really bitter grit, but you never know! :)

I make tea smoothies all the time. This is what I usually do:
-Fresh fruit( like a banana)
-small serving size or a few spoonfuls of Greek yogurt
-handful or 2 of frozen fruit (my fav is mango or mixed berries)
- sometimes I add a couple of frozen coconut milk cubes
-chilled tea to cover (I usually coordinate the fruit with the flavour of tea I have such as piña colada honey bush worth fresh banana and mango)
-blend!!
