CLOSED: Travelling Tea Box C Round 2

OK. Here’s the deal. We have 10 new would-be members, 4 re-joins, and 5 people from round 1 that I haven’t heard from yet.

I hate to turn people away, so I think I’ll just accept everyone who has asked up to this point. We started the first round with about 18 people,so this isn’t unreasonable, though it will take a while for the box to circulate.

Will all the new people please PM me with their address and any times in the next 2 months that would be bad for you to receive the box. I’m following you all.

Please only do this if you’re serious about it. In round 1 we had a couple of people just drift away from steepster and it made for a lot of hassle and delay. (If you lose interest at some time in the future, just PM me and I’ll take you off the list).

I’m updating the start paragraph with new members and guidelines. Please check it out. I’ll be mailing the box by the end of the week.

I have the box!!!

Pheeew, I have had a crazy weekend. I actually found the box in my mailbox yesterday as my husband and I were leaving as we spontaneously decided to spend the night at our cabin in the (not too deep) depths of PA woods. So I took it with me. And now I brought it back. I couldn’t just leave it, right???

GUYS, guys, guys! Anyone who signed-up for this adventure – this box is HUGE! Imagine a medium flat rate box stuffed to the brim with baggies of various you-name-it-you’ve-got-it teas. I should take a picture of it later so you can get a better idea.

In order for my tasting to go smooth, I think I will just pick 20-30 teas that I would love to try the most and then just focus on only these. Because if I tried to pick something out of that bunch every time I want to have tea, it would take me hours to decide :D

I am going to review all the teas I try and mark them as TTBC2 so it’s easier for the box participants to find them if they are interested :)

I would like to update everyone on how the box is doing.

First off, I’m sorry that I don’t have any pictures for you, but I have had issues with my camera, and I don’t have a phone that would actually take decent ones. But then, that will allow for the next person to be more surprised, right?

Also, I plan to send the box on its way Tuesday. I hope that is okay. I will send the list of the teas that I had / took out and the ones that I put in around Monday / Tuesday as well.

I have tried 13 teas from the box so far and have written tasting notes about all of them. Check them out if you’re interested! Also, remember that what I’ve had + what I’m yet going to have is just a small fraction of all the teas in the box! :D
