NEED your input, please.

We are going to the Kansas Sampler Festival in Leavenworth, KS next weekend. We are going to have a booth there and will be selling iced teas as well as pouches and tins of our teas.

I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to figure out which of our teas we should bring with us (possibly reblend for the event). I think we need to be heavy on the teas that work well as iced teas. What do you guys think?

What about a special blend that might serve for both hot & cold? I know that most of the other shops are promoting the ice tea blends right now but … they are predicting more thunderstorms for the area next weekend. Judging from this weekend, you’d be hard pressed to push the ice tea blends. Don’t worry, we’ll be begging for them in July.

I think the Black Currant Bai Mu Dan is amazing hot and iced – a sure winner!! I think the Ultimate Citrus Spice Flavored Black would be a great hot/iced choice too. I’m also a real sucker for the White Chocolate Cashew and I think people with a sweet tooth will snap that up, even though it is a hot tea.

Good luck!

Matchas, cucumber melon (WONDERFUL iced!) and Mayan Chocolate chai.

How about a Mayan Chocolate Chai tea float, granita, iced latte (w/ milk, blended or not) or slushie (w/o milk- 1/2 water, half ice, using 2x the amout of chai as you would for the amount of the water to account for the ice and blended)? It’d be perfect since Cinco De Mayo is coming up just a few days later.

The Malted ChocoMate is amazing both hot and iced, in my opinion.

Mintastic would probably be good as well.

Thanks for all your input. Pretty much confirmed what I was thinking. It’s going to be an interesting week getting ready for this event. Hopefully, we will sell lots of tea.

What did you decide on?

Pretty much decided yes to most everything. We’re going to be hauling an AWFUL lot of tea. Will have to update our website’s inventory when we get back. Might be a few old favorites that will become available.
