I have just discovered tea!

When I first started, I tried lots of different exotic teas – but it turns out I really do prefer black tea (flavored and unflavored) and only a few greens. I’ve yet to find a white tea I really like. So I suggest trying lots of different kinds, but if you decide you prefer one kind, there are lots of different teas/brands within that kind to try as well.

If you get a tea and don’t really love it, you may be able to find a “trade” here on the site with someone who loves the tea that you’re not too fond of.

I haven’t seen anyone suggest it yet but Upton Teas has tons of teas and good sample sizes for reasonable prices.

And yeah, follow people so you can get into some swaps. Also watch the discussion boards because occasionally folks do stash reductions and give away or sell their own teas in sample sizes. :)
