How do YOU Drink Matcha Tea??

My favorite tea is matcha tea. I am very open minded about it. I am very willing to try new ways of drinking matcha. So tell me, how do you drink it?

In the summer I am very partial for Matcha milkshakes, just a little vanilla ice cream, Matcha, and milk and yummm.

I drink a lot of flavoured matcha and most make it cold shaken with water. I also make lattes with milk, smoothies, cook with it. I will occasionally drink green matcha in a traditional manner.

I like hot or iced matcha lattes best!

I enjoy making Matcha Lemonade (aka Arnold Palmers) using Matcha.

I usually mix my matcha with a combination of water and almond milk, and throw in a scoop of protein powder as well. Shake it up in a to- go cup.

I’m always looking for new ways to try matcha and as of late I’ve been using both my flavoured and straight matchas with plain soy milk in a cold latte. I boil my water and let it cool then pour in the little bit needed to whisk the matcha, then fill my mug with soy milk from the fridge. Yum!

I’m still quite new to matcha, but when I had some on hand, I liked drinking it cold with almond milk. I’d shake it up in the milk and drink it like that.

I tried drinking it with cold water, but my tap water — even when filtered though I might just need a new filter — tasted too much like chlorine/fluoride or whatever. xD I’m sure it’d be good in bottled water, though.

When I tried making it traditional, I found it too bitter. :( But I want to try again sometime.
