STEEPSTER BOOK CLUB: Reading Schedule

I’ve got my hot little hands on For All the Tea in China! I’m going to break down the book into weekly chunks, and as the week comes up, create a discussion thread for that chunk. This will avoid spoilers, and keep everything manageable (I hope!)! Remember, this is a work in progress. Let me know if you think something doesn’t work, and we can make it better :)

WEEK 1: May 1-7: Beginning through Chapter 5

WEEK 2: May 8-14: Chapters 6 through 10

WEEK 3: May 15-21: Chapters 11 through 14

WEEK 4: May 22 – end of month: Chapter 15 through End

I also hope we can have our discussion with the author some time during Week 4. I have emailed her and am awaiting a reply.

Remember to PM or email me (J M A N N I at U A R T S dot E D U) questions or discussion points. I will have some WEEK 1 questions up by April 30, but they can always be added to :) Don’t be shy! I will aim to have the week’s thread up a day before each reading week starts.

I’ve heard back from the author! What we will do for the discussion is she will choose two days near the end of the month where she will be available. We will post our questions and comments for the author to the AUTHOR DISCUSSION thread, and she will answer, and back and forth and so on. We’ll have two days of being able to exchange ideas with the author! Fantastic!!
