I am curious – what are fellow tea drinkers’ majors?

I am an evolutionary anthropology major and a prospective history minor.

I’m currently a computer science major, but I am in the process of changing.

Painting Major with a minor in gender studies.
Spencer, what do you plan on changing to?

LAES (Liberal Arts & Engineering Studies). It’s a new, hybrid major my school has where you choose an engineering concentration and a liberal arts concentration and build a custom class plan for it. So, in my case, I’m taking computer science classes and psychology classes.

Spencer! That sounds like my school! I’m an engineering major but we are all required to have a humanities concentration. Mine is Asian studies.

@coral That’s cool! I’ve never actually heard of it being required. So, when you graduate, will it just be with an engineering degree, though?
Also, what’s you’re area of engineering?

Yeah, and actually, we only have one degree offered, so mine will say general engineering. But I’m liking environmental engineering and I’m taking transport phenomena next fall. I’m really excited for that. =D

Mechanical engineer here, with a minor in japanese (I wanted to do a double major but with engineering that was pretty much impossible.)

Spencer, that sounds pretty cool! I’m at a liberal arts college (that has strong science) so I always wish that I could focus on stuff besides engineering, but the classes here are so intense it’s really hard to get any classes in.

Since I tend to drink oolongs, greens, and whites they’re not the best for late night studying. Coffee is my savior for those.

I always use tea as a reward after a long day of studying, class, or homework. I also like to drink tea right before going to bed, which is sometimes an issue. I love the tumblers that were posted here, i’ve been thinking I need to buy one at some point now that I have an evening class, and do work all day long without drinking tea. I’ve thought about getting those tea bags too so I can make them on the go (:

I’m supposed to be writing a paper that is due today. I just can’t seem to get focused though. On to a tea break I suppose. I typically drink black tea when studying but today seems like an oolong kind of day. Unless of course my package of samples arrives, then I will pick from those.

well—working on my last project for sculpture, and I have some papers to edit, and I will be DONE! I had a pomegranate herbal today—that did the trick, in between freaking out and spray painting my sculpture project. Tea=reward=yes.
