Novel-TEA

Any tea themed items that you’ve found funny or humorous?

I saw these. They’re cute, but I bet the tea is pretty crummy.

I saw that before on an LJ tea comm (was it you who posted it, Auggy?). I LOVE sharks, so I would totally buy something like that. :D

I had no idea LJ was used for anything more than fanfic – haha!

I can’t figure out where to buy it though. I guess it was just part of a design competition. :(

Are you talking about LJ in general or my journal specifically? ⌐_⌐
;)

Pretty much the only journals on LJ or IJ I visit are fanfic so… I mean, I knew that in THEORY other things were on there but tea? I would have never guessed!

Oh there’s PLENTY of stuff there besides fanfic – actually I think fanfic-related stuff only makes up a small portion of LJ altogether. There’s several comms about tea, and I’ve seen lots about gardening, fashion, entertainment, books, icon-making, photography, etc. Pretty much if you’re interested in it a comm exist for it, and I mean that quite literally.

Anyways here’s a link to the tea comm called Tea For Two: http://community.livejournal.com/teafortwo/profile

Sooooo…. You’re saying I spend too much time reading fanfic, yes? ;)

Yay for tea groups! Thanks for the link!

That teapot somehow manages to simultaneously be the lamest and most awesome thing ever, lol!

Once he started rapping, I watched that entire video with my mouth open.

“Now when I say, ‘Earl Grey,’ you say, ‘YES PLEASE!’”

HAHAHAHAAAA. Oh, man. I’m gonna go watch it again.

Yes! I LOOOOVE that so!

Hubby was laughing at me as I sung along (because of course I had to watch it again). I may have watched it once or twelve times.

When I say “Ooh,” you say “Long!” “Oolong! Oolong!” This is completely roffle-worthy. LOVE it. Thanks Auggy!

If you look through a bunch of the older Steepster Twitter posts, I bet you’ll find a lot of this stuff. I know I’ve linked to the shark infuser and the tea bags that look like people sitting in your cup (I think the stripper ones, the president ones, and maybe another variety). I also have a ton of other tea links that I have to go through and will continue posting to our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and eventually we might even include a thread/place on the site for all of these cool/fun tea-related links.

Should have figured/remembered it was you that tweeted that stuff out. The steepster twitter account is responsible for creating roughly 57% of my tea gadget envy.

I found coasters shaped like tea pots that say “humili.tea: n. reviewing your personal greatness while drinking tea” :)

I like the Bag Lady Tea Novelty Tea Stuff – and it’s a fairly strong black tea for bagged!

I love how each tea bag comes with an appropriate quote for each ‘occaision’. Plus I really enjoy the Ceylon Vanilla-Caramel tea that they also make. :)
