Have you guys heard of Tea Valley?

Have any of you guys bought tea from this place before http://www.theteavalley.com? Are they any good? What are some good sites to buy loose leaf Chinese tea? I purchased tea from a couple of online sites before and was pretty disappointed :(

Have not tried this site. Maybe try Silk Road Teas and Andao- I know of some folks on this website who have tried tea from there…

I placed an order w/JKTeaShop and am waiting for the order to arrive…

Which ones have you had negative experience with?

Hey there Lori. Thanks for the suggestions. The two sites looks pretty intriguing. I will put it on my list of places to try.

I have ordered tea from Tea Spring but was pretty disappointed in the quality of tea I received for the amount of money I paid. I forgot where was the other place I ordered from but it certainly didn’t leave much of an impression.

I have placed an order with Tea Valley. Will post up reviews as soon as I get those. I’m surprised that I found a tea site that’s not listed on steepster!

I agree with Lori try Silk Road Teas. I just got an order in from there and it was exceptional tea (quality wise).

I’ve never heard of them before this thread- but I just got an email from them this morning asking if I want to review their teas.

Great review, SoccerMom! I’m not much of a black tea drinker myself but I will definely get Oolong from Silk Road Teas since it comes highly recommended :)

Lucky you, Cofftea! Free tea is always good, for the most part :) I found Tea Valley through a friend’s friend’s facebook. My order comes today or tomorrow.

I find it quite interesting that they carry no black teas. The owner only carries teas s/he (not sure of the gender) carries so s/he must be like me and not care for them. No love lost on blacks, but I am disappointed that I’m not able to review a chai.

Black teas are not my thing either. I ordered one of their bi luo chun and one of their tie guan yin. Wanted to try the da hong pao but it was too expensive :( What tea are you reviewing?
