Vancouver Tea Festival
On November 2nd, Vancouver Canada is having it’s first ever tea festival.

So if you live in Vancouver or close by, consider coming. There will be tea =)
Gah, wish I could go, I miss Vancouver!
I hope it turns out a success and they have one next year! Steepster peeps, report back on how the festival is!
Don’t forget that the Vancouver Coffee and Tea show is only a little over a week prior, too. You can plan for two cons (although VC&T is much more coffee-oriented, and I doubt I’ll be going).
I’ve been waiting for VTF to update their site (it’s been sitting on ‘more information soon’ for a while); DoMatcha is sponsoring, which is AWESOME (I remember when they caught on on Steepster for a short while). I’m looking forward to checking out O5, since it’s way outside of my transit-range, so I’ve never been. This really excites me, because I live in the area, so it’s all tea companies I recognize/places I’ve trekked for two hours by transit to visit.
I’m hoping to run into Tealicious and SOKO, who aren’t exhibiting it looks like, but who I’m sure will attend anyways. I can’t see them not, the owners are both really friendly people.
I just looked that one up, and it’s $112! $5 VS $112.. That must be an awesome breakfast. :)
(Edit: And apparently there’s a one day entrance package only $34. Their website does not play nice with my zoom.)
Yeah. If you just want access to the trade show, it’s $34 (the only one I’d bother getting); which is up from I think $25 early registration. I’m thinking about it, but the majority of the tea exhibitors are large companies (Numi and Tetley—/Tetley/), or are also going to the VTF.
