Nice! I’ll have to try that with the squash I just got. :)

Thank you for sharing. I spotted this last night and have been wanting to make a nice soup, so today I popped out to get the ingredients. :) Will have a go at making it tonight.

Wow! And I had a pretty decent butternut harvest from a compost volunteer this year! There are about 8 left staring me down in my kitchen. Thanks for sharing!

I did a version of this soup using slightly different measurements and quantities. It came out perfectly so I wrote the recipe down on my blog. Thank you Stephanie, it was delicious. :)

That looks awesome! I’ve been looking for a butternut squash soup recipe that I think my family would actually eat. Maybe adding tea would change the flavor enough for them to want to eat.

Now I found an amazing looking Chai Caramels recipes! http://www.yumsugar.com/Chai-Caramels-Recipe-25612482

I have made soft caramels similar to this before but never with tea! Looks SO GOOD!!!!

I made the soup tonight for dinner (used a tea ball and loose chai, plus an immersion blender…didn’t have creme fraiche so I used cream…bet it’d be best with creme fraiche as the tang would round out the sweetness though). Really good! It’s so sweet it’s right on the border of savory, so my husband (he has a Southerner’s sweet tooth for sure) loved it. I think next time I might use less or maybe no brown sugar. Thanks for the link! Definitely will make again. Easy peasy.

Yay!!!
