Thanks Jason! Not really sure what we’re thinking here….selling definitely below our cost, but, I’m turning 40 tomorrow and would love to have all the tea lovers in the Steepster community help me celebrate by becoming a LeafSpa Organic Tea customer! Thanks for the Tweet and hope all is well!

That’s why. It needs to be thru www.leafspa.com.

Oh you just upped the chance of me caving! It’ll help me earn my next amazon GC faster which I’m putting toward the Breville Tea Maker. Please let us know if you get it to work!:)

the code isn’t working for paypal either sadly :/

It is working through Paypal for me, just click on Paypal on the checkout page and then sign into Paypal and continue on after verifying the shipping address and everything—then it’ll take you back to the LeafSpa checkout page where you can enter the coupon.

Some sort of way I was able to get it to work…I felt like I was in a Paypal-Leafspa continuous loop…

Well.. I caved in ! Being new to teas in general I figured it was a great offer. Too bad shipping to Canada is so expensive though… Ordered a lot … hoping I’ll drink it all before it starts to lose it’s taste (not clear on the shelf life). Big fan of Oolong’s in general so I ordered some as well as other kinds I wouldn’t have normally tried.

Just like other things there is lots of contradicting info on shelf life. But no matter how quick you’re gonna drink it, make sure it’s in an air tight container that’s either opaque or clear container that is UV treated- air and light are swiftly deadly to teas. Beyond that, the only way to know if it’s still good is to taste it so drink as long as it tastes good.:)

i’ve drunk tea that’s over a year old, if you have nice containers (like Cofftea said) you’re fine – better yet 2 contains per tea if you ordered large quantities one for storage one for drinking so the storage one isn’t opened constantly

I have storage problems as it is, but that’s a GREAT idea AmazonV!

We have a vacuum sealer, so the stuff we buy in bulk gets 2-8 oz put in a regular canister and the rest into a vacuum sealed canister and stuck in a drawer. Seems to be working well for us!

AmazonV said 2010-05-12 11:50:13 -0400

@denisend that does sound ideal, i just keep putting off buying a vacuum sealer since right now i rarely get in bulk (can’t justify it yet)

The suction doesn’t crush the leaves?

AmazonV – We bought it for buying meat in bulk (like a whole beef tenderloin). The husband will cut it up and package it into 2 person portions that can just be pulled out of the freezer.

Cofftea – It’s a canister, so no. Don’t worry about it – I know you won’t approve because it’s clear.

BTW the Google checkout works with the code. Didn’t try Amazon again though.

I split an order with some friends at school to take advantage of the free shipping. Mmm, so much tea coming!

Sorry about this problem (it’s on Amazon’s side). HOWEVER, if you go straight to the Amazon.com site (http://amzn.to/dq6PeU) and shop there, the LEAFSPA1 code works just fine. I just triple checked it myself.

Ugh… now I will be caving on the honey vanilla white. What a lovely and intersting flavor combo… add some chai spices and it’d be a lovely white based chai.

… and I caved on the matcha! Organic Ceremonial grade matcha, can it get any better?
