Flavored VS Unflavored Tea

nope, dislike any flavoured tea, green, black or white.
only flavoured tea I really love is my all time fave: earl grey. All my other teas are pure

I mostly avoid flavored teas although I admit some of them can be quite good (as long as they’re naturally-flavored). I’d rather have a high-quality oolong, yellow, white… I’ve started buying in smaller amounts and getting better tea because tea gets stale and tastes change, buying in pounds is way too much to consume.

Most of the time, I find myself craving black teas with stevia, but I enjoy flavored occasionally too, especially good Earl Greys or a nice chai once in a while. I’m really glad I’ve experimented with flavors even though plain teas are my “go to”. I’ve also discovered that my moods can change depending on the season. I agree with others that there is no right or wrong-tastes are an individual thing! Examples of flavored teas that I like include Harney’s Earl Grey Supreme and Diamond Jubilee, Verdant’s Laoshan Village Chai, and Butiki’s Eggnog. I think the base teas on all of these are good.

Usually I drink straight teas but there are some flavored teas – jasmine pearls, rose white tea, lemon mint, green chai, etc – that I can’t go without. I would say I go for “delicately” flavored teas. Over flavored, synthetic tasting teas (I’m looking at you Teavana) are the ones I can’t stand.

Straight full leaf black teas are the love of my life. Every now & then I’ll add a little stevia or maple syrup for a treat. I also enjoy other plain teas: Sheng, Shu, oolongs (especially roasty oolongs), greens, etc.
I avoid all artificial flavorings, but will sometimes try blends that tend towards natural ingredients. A few blends I love:
Verdant’s Sichuan Caravan (still waiting for verdant to bring this one back) & Laoshan chocolate Genmaicha & Laoshan bergamot rose
Butiki’s Caramel Vanilla Assam & Foxy Roxy’s banana walnut treat.
I was in love with Adagio’s Bilbo Brew too
I like some florals (rose & jasmine), but not a fan of earl grey.
I enjoy these as a treat, but mostly I just drink lots of black teas!
