A good green tea with ginger?

Hello all,
Can anybody recommend a good loose green tea with ginger? Thanks,

Kevin

One of my favourite teas is Bangkok from Harney & Sons. Although it isn’t just green tea and ginger, it also has lemongrass and coconut.

I really like Della Terra’s Strawberry Zest; but same idea in that it’s not just green tea and ginger (there’s also strawberry and spearmint).

You could always have a go at making your own if you can’t find anything to your taste.

I have a link on how to make your own ginger tea via Chinese method. It takes a while to make but you could have it to your own desired strength and it would be guaranteed fresh. Plus you could blend it with any green tea you wish.

I also make my own ginger tea.

You could try a Chinese/Asian shop, they often have various ginger teas in stock.

Wow! Thanks for all of the thoughtful replies. Steepster seems like a great community, glad to be a part of it! So, Courtney, great idea, I really like the sound of that one and have ordered a small tin. KittyLovesTea, great idea, I may give this a go as well, thanks for the link. Roswell Strange, have you tried Butiki With Eyes Open? Sounds very similar to what you like. Sandra, I may do that, none in this area, but when I get back to New York City I will search this out. And finally boychik, interesting choice, not a lot of green tea and no ginger, but I might try this as well. Once again, many thanks to all of you,

Kevin

I haven’t tried it simply because it’s very similar and at the moment I’m content with what I have and not looking to venture out (very limited funds). If I were to have a more disposable income I’d probably try it out though – but for the moment I’d prefer to spend my money on teas that’re different from anything else I have stocked.

Moorish mint does have ginger. Very nice smooth blend, excellent for flu season. I find ginger as main component in a mix, very soothing
