I’m finishing the last of Verdant’s Shui Jin Gui Wuyi Oolong, and after resteeping this I might jump onto another oolong. I don’t drink my non-black teas enough.

Awww! What a clever thing to do Frolic! Can’t resist an Oolong Saturday, much more relaxing than a Black Friday!!
I’m having one of my favourite oolong of the moment, Wenshan Baozhong Reserve from Tealux.
It’s what I call «liquid pyjama grade», the best for a cold cozy winter afternoon…

Verdant’s 5 year aged Tieguanyin is todays second oolong. I have about one more session of steeps left after this one.

It’s hard drinking down some of my favorites but I’ve told myself I can’t unseal any new teas until I’ve finished a few. I have a habit of clinging onto teas I like forgetting I can either get more or even if I can’t their are dozens of other teas I love.

I started with a new Coconut Oolong from SOKO, a local tea shop. Not sure what to try next. I have a lot of samples, but am generally not an oolong fan. :)

I adore coconut oolongs. It’s one tea I don’t have any of right now that I really crave but I’ll have to hold off till my birthday on anything new.

Enjoy!

It was probably the best oolong I’ve had so far today. As I said, I’m not generally a fan! I’m going to try a couple more samples, then call it quits.

Starting the evening off with Upton ZO25 Da Hong Pao. Excited to try it.

Lovely, but isn’t any Da Hong Pao? Following it up with Verdant’s. Maybe I should put on a big red robe and drink nothing else for the rest of the day.

Mmmm, the wet leaf smells amazing. Can’t wait to drink this.

Drinking a slightly bug-bitten heavily roasted Dong-Ding Oolong. Smoky, nutty, & chestnut tones with the bug bitten bringing out some tanginess and dried fruit flavors.

I am finishing my day with a bit of Roasted Tie Guan Yin brewed in my little chipped Gaiwan.
