What is the best tea subscription on the market?

Mine still isn’t even showing up in tracking. I wonder if they sent me the wrong tracking number….

I figure I’ll wait until I get home and verify there isn’t a package and that they just didn’t type the tracking number in wrong or something. Unless it’s lost in Iowa or something.

Same as mine, Marzipan! Note that the Arya Emerald is a green darjeeling. So this was a nice variety:

4 Assam; 3 Darjeeling; 1 Nilgiri; 1 Green; 1 White

Cheri: you can track them at USPS.com. I’ve never had any success at the Indian site…

Does your tracking start with a Cn and end with In? Usps should have it, but they could be slow at updating. If it fails to continue to show up, maybe it’s time to ask golden tips if they sent you the right numbers.
Mines is currently in customs. Yours can’t be too far out.

I’ll wait to see if it’s at home when I get there…errr, I mean the slip because I wasn’t home when they tried to deliver it and I have to go to the post office and sign for it. If not, I’ll email them.

Mine is out for delivery but I haven’t seen it and the mail has already come. I’m hoping it’s coming separately from the other mail.

Mine never show up till they’re out for delivery.

They did not attempt to deliver it today, so I’m sending an email.

So I sent an email, and they said it was valid.

And then I did tracking again, and for the first time it showed up. It’s being delivered today.

my tracking no. just showed up – and my box just arrived at Amsterdam airport, so with a bit of luck, I will get my teas tomorrow!

Mine did arrive yesterday. The post office is on the way home, and I really didn’t want to have to go to the house, pick up the slip, and then go back to the post office, so I just went to the post office. The guy working there wasn’t happy I came without the slip, but you can do it. He was all like, “Are you sure it was us and not UPS?” and I replied that I was sure it was them. I said, “It’s a box, about this big, and it’ll be wrapped in fabric.” He came back a few minutes later with the parcel and was surprised that I knew what the box looked like.

I guess it’s good that the package is so easily identifiable.

My mailman commented that the fabric/wax thing was “really weird” too – but the box seems a little flimsy so it’s probably good that it’s there.

Please note that the white fabric hand sealed is a mandatory packaging requirement here in India to ship through EMS Speed Post. And yes that does make the parcel really identifiable :)

I did not know it was required. I’ve ever seen a package like that, but then again, I don’t get many packages from India. I was actually kind of disappointed that most of the wax was broken off the package this time.

the postman in my neighbourhood is from India, at least, part of his family is. So when he brought my parcel, he immediately commented on the linnen & wax, as he recognized it. He told me this packaging is used in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We chatted away quite a bit about it so that was fun. His rounds cover about 50% of the town (he does DHL too) and he told me he rarely sees waxed parcels from India to deliver. :)

They cut open the fabric and then the box and opened a sample (didn’t really bother to close the box up well either). Was more funny than anything, but I think the flimsy box made it worse. Much like what happened to Sandra Vdplaats.

Sandra, looking forward to the reviews! I just received my samples of all of golden tips assams and can’t wait to start working my way through them. Seems that this month is a little darjeeling-heavy. Was it the same last month?

previous month was more or less the same mix of Darjeeling & Assam, believe there was a Nilgiri tea as well, can’t remember but it’s in this link up somwehere…
I am happy with either: LOOOVVVVE Darjeelings, and Assam teas.
Was not well for a while, and was busy with work, but promise to sip down lots of teas in the next few days!
