Too many. Between my husband and I (work and home) we have 3 Perfect Tea Mugs, 4 (beloved) Latte mugs, a dozen other special to us mugs – Doctor Who, Alice in Wonderland, etc. I have 4 China cups (I think) and a bazillion teapots. Then there are the generic mugs that we’ve accumulated over time. We are moving this month and the prospect of packing all our dishware and moving it (without smashing) is daunting.

And to think, we only really need 2 mugs. Maybe 4.

I am definitely developing an unhealthy mug obsession. I have at least six perfect tea mugs from DT (including a glass one!), a few square ones because square everything is wonderful, and another one that says “I heart dogs” on it in Braille! next up I want to get ones you can put pictures on, and plaster arden (my guide dog) all over it!

I have a tea pot problem instead…

Ummm… I have about 15 regular mugs, 3 tumbler style mugs from Teavana, 4 Asian, 2 glass, four latte cups and my Tardis/ Doctor Who mug. I put some away for awhile so I can rotate them. Somehow that makes them all feel more special.

Is it the mug that is shaped like a TARDIS? My hubby bought me the exploding TARDIS from Think Geek which I love, and I also have one with a print of the TARDIS that my Aunt brought me from London last year. I got one for my Mum where the TARDIS disappears and reappears with temperature. I love these mugs!

I have the square shaped Tardis mug with a lid. It’s a great conversation piece. I’ve been watching since 1982. What are we going to do with no new Doctor Who until August? I guess we will have to drink tea! Oh, have you ever tried any of the Doctor Who teas? I haven’t yet but I have a birthday coming up soon, so maybe I’ll give a hint to my daughters…. mmm… there’s an idea.

I’ve been reading the Doctor Who books to keep myself content until August. My birthday is in August, so new Who will be a great present. I am still reeling from the loss of Matty as he was my first Doctor and so far my favourite. I have watched whatever classic who I can get my hands on, but my bread and butter is definitely the new series. It’s so lovely!

7 at work (GIANT mug for those days when I just…can’t…do…it…, 3 “regular” perfect mugs from DT, 3 travel mugs), 7 at home (perfect mug from DT, glass teacup with strainer, then 5 “random” mugs featuring Cat In The Hat x2, Minnie Mouse, a hand-painted ceramic mug, and a totally impractical cast-iron mug).

I also have 2 tea pots (1 stainless, 1 glass) and a Steeper.

Oh, yeah. And then I have about 20 mugs packed away in a box. I almost forgot about those…mostly travel-themed brought back for me as gifts.

Lots. I collect Western tea cups, and have a dozen in my cupboard and more on display. I also have a lot of mugs – why have glasses, when they’re uni-taskers? Mugs hold both hot AND cold beverages! :) I have a lot of Asian style cups as well, the smaller rounded ones with no handle. I don’t use them as often, but I have them.
