Looking for tea and chinese food pairings? Any suggestions ?

I’m rather partial to Lu Mei Green from Little Red Cup Tea Co. It’s a really nice green that pairs well with a lot of things.

I like a nice jasmine green tea with a few rosebuds in it. No particular brand. The jasmine should not be too parfumey or too sweet. I find it pairs well with a lot of Asian foods whether spicey, sweet, sour, etc. Goes with everything.

I like gunpowder green with Chinese food. No specific brand, but the smokiness goes well with most of the flavors (or the savory ones, at least).

I love Huang Shan Mao Feng or a nice Teavivre Jasmine green with Asian food. Hubby also loves Bi Luo Chun with such a meal.

A general rule of thumb heavier meat dishes (beef and pork) are good with red, oolong and gunpowder green, lighter dishes (seafood and veggies) are best with yellow, and greens such as dragon well, for deserts white tea or just have the tea itself. This mostly applies to chinese dishes.
