Classic Ice Tea

Hi everyone!! I am looking for a loose leaf ‘classic’ black ice tea. I know this is all personal preference on taste. But I am hoping I can get some suggestions for that classic flavor like the good ole Red Rose but in good quality loose leaf

I just use English Breakfast. You can get some from teavann for pretty cheap and you don’t need super high qulity because it’s just for iced tea.

A nice Ceylon would probably work.

This one I had recently had nice cherry notes.http://www.capitaltea.com/shop/product.php?productid=76&cat=3&page=1

For A very affordable option you might want to check out a local, international grocery store catering to Arabic/Pakistani population. You can usually find large boxes of Ceylon looseleaf to experiment with.

From what I’ve seen, “classic” iced tea is usually made with bagged Orange Pekoe, or in other words Ceylon. A good Ceylon should do the trick!

I like breakfast blends for iced tea. Twice as strong and twice as long!
