Favorite Detox Teas?

I’m looking for recommendations. I may try Traditional Medicinals Dandelion Root to start out with.

the only Detox tea i’ve tried is Detox by Pukka. it doesn’t have any medicinal herbs like dandelion root, i think it goes more by taste. it’s delicious tho! contains fennel, aniseed, cardamom & licorice, among other things.

it claims the following:

-Aniseed and fennel seed help to relax digestion and flush the urinary system.
-Cardamom seeds can help to clear excess mucus.
-Coriander and celery seed help to wash toxins from the body.
-Licorice root is calming and tonifying.

It sounds good! It might clean all those nasty toxins out. Anything that makes you feel better during this blah time of year sounds like a real plus.

I drink this one http://raizana.com/shop/puretea-rooibos-milk-thistle-burdock/ on occasion and have found the result was quite good! I do admit I was not so much drinking it to detox my liver but to help my body deal with not having a gallbladder, but my mom drinks it for detox and she says it helps her feel better :)

I did a detox cocktail thing when I first went away to college a couple years ago. Dandelion root tea, cranberry juice (not cranberry juice cocktail, the plain no sugar added kind), lemon juice, and water. Seemed to do it’s job flushing my system. In fact, I kind of want to do it again.

I’ve tried a few detox teas and got a little bit of relief (in terms of breathing) with them. None of them tasted horrible and none were especially tasty. There are what they are: detox teas. We drink them for health benefits not enjoyment. I’ve tried: Traditional Medicinals – Everyday Detox
Tealux – Deep Breath
Tealux- Immunity Booster
Tealux – 911 detox

I think I left reviews for all of them if you’re curious about how they tasted. I can’t remember now.

What exactly are you looking for in the tea? What would you like it to help with? I think those may be better questions to ask than to ask for a tea that claims to be a detox tea. :) The word “detox” is primarily used these days as a marketing tactic.
