Teeny Tiny TTB (US Only) Signups: CLOSED
I have a quick question :) This is my first TTB. How are the tea packaged? Do I need to find something to package them in? Are zip-locks sufficient, are there opaque ones?
After seeing the box I would say the box is to small for normal zip-lock, even snack size. Maybe if you are only adding 2 teas. Clear is ok. I’ve bought a variate of small food safe bags on ebay. I know craft stores and Walmart sell bags but I don’t know if they are food safe.
That’s good to know, as I only have snack size Ziploc bags. I’ll make sure to get some before the box gets here.
I use these bags for regular swaps (well the bags I currently have are actually 3×5 but when I got them, I figured that they’re a bit big so 3×3 or 3×4 would be sufficient. And these [the 3×5[ were the baggies I used for this TTB since these were the only ones I had at the time, but taped them so they’d be smaller. Link is for the 3×4)

I mainly look for 4mil baggies so that the scents wouldn’t permeate through other baggies.

Oh hell y’all! I was just about to make a cuppa from the TTTB and realized I didn’t put the Butt Touch Brigade back into the box. NayLynn – if you still have the box, I will send it out to you in the mail tomorrow.
Ha- I noticed it was not there and thought you changed your mind. Sending it tomorrow sounds good, I have a sample of it if it does not come in time.
I sent the box out yesterday and the estimated delivery is Saturday. There was so much tea in that little box I had a hard time stuffing the tea back in. My life was busier than usual and I did not feel as adventures in trying new teas but I’m very happy with what I have and will try. I plan on posting tasting notes soon.

This is fun, thanks for being a part of my first TTB guys :)
The TTTTB arrived today! Yippie! Thank you, thank you Proxy for setting this up! I’ve been sitting with ice on my sprained knee and looking through the lovely collection in this box. I’m picking out some of the teas and I’m so excited. I had a really bad tea day yesterday. Everything I drank was blah and uninteresting, even some of my favorites. Obviously, it was me not the tea that was the problem. I’m glad to see that so many of the samples were large enough that I can put them in my Breville (the Breville makes a minimum of 2 cups). I was afraid that with it being Teeny Tiny the samples would also be Teeny Tiny, but they’re not! I’ve practically forgotten how to brew single cups of tea. :-D Thanks so much. This made my day immeasurably better! I’m a happy girl!
