Jin jun mei - worth the price?

I fell in love with the aroma of golden eyebrow tea today. I havent tried it but the sniff jar had me itching for my wallet.
I managed to walk away from the $20 an ounce price but I cried all the way out the door.
I want to know if the flavor is worth the price?
Is there something similar for a better price?

I love Jin Jun Mei, probably one of my favorite blacks ever. I get mine from Yezi ( http://www.yezitea.com/products/jin-jun-mei-black-tea) for $11.95 and ounce, much easier to justify than $20!

Seconding Yezi! I love their Jin Jun Mie :D

I love jinjunmei as well. To be quite honest I’ve bought mine all on aliexpress or eBay I’ve always spent under 5$ an ounce. Some of them were deeply discounted though where I bought them some were up to 90% off the price at other vendors. Some Reputable eBay vendors are listed here. The shanghai story one has had really great Reviews. http://steepster.com/discuss/6260-teaware-slash-tea-from-ebay. My favourite seller on aliexpress is currently not selling tea, but I’ve also bought one athttp://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/Black-tea/723612_250875074.html. It used to be named Chinese tea distributor.

OK I learned something!!! I didn’t know Jin Jun Mei was Golden Eyebrow. Whatever you call it, I like it. I agree that the Yezi version is really good, and I like the one from Tealux.

It’s also about 12.50/oz.
