Any recommendations for currant tea?

I’ve been looking for a currant tea made with real currants (preferably red, but black will do too). A number that I’ve looked at say they’re currant, but they’re primarily raspberry or some other berry with just some currant flavoring (if that). Or I can’t tell from the website what the ingredients are.

So does anyone have a good recommendation for currant tea?

I’m not sure how “good” these recommendations are, but I’ve recently drank two black current teas.
The first is this one:
http://steepster.com/teas/tea-sante/42952-black-currant
It’s really intense black current, but I think it’s all flavoring, there were no berries at all in the tea. Tastes like black current, but probably not what you are looking for.
The other is:
http://steepster.com/teas/cornelia-bean/46336-pear-garden-black-currant
It actually has both currants and black currants listed as ingredients, but has pear as the primary ingredient. This is a black currant and pear tisane.
I don’t know if that helps at all….

Thanks. The second one looked good, but it doesn’t appear to be available on the Cornelia Bean site. But there was a lot of other interesting stuff on there that I’ll be looking at. I’ll also take a look at the first one you linked. Thanks

It is on the Cornelia Bean website….Under Herbals and then fruit infusions. :))
http://www.corneliabean.com/cart/tea.php?type=171
About 3/4 of the way down the page….
I’ve drank it hot a couple of times, and it’s good, but I think it would be better iced.
Good luck in your search. :))

Not a personal recommendation as I think all the currant teas I’ve had have been flavored and I haven’t ever tried this one, but it sounds like maybe it has more than just flavoring?

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll check it out.

I will recommend Harney’s Black Currant! I haven’t made it a point to explore a lot of currant teas but this is my favorite that I’ve tried. There are dried black currants in the blend.
