Samples-Only Small TTB - DONE
A small traveling tea box just for sample-sized teas. Anything goes, just know that the box is going to start off with mostly herbals because that’s what I have in my cupboard.

Le rules:
- This swap will be for sample sized baggies of tea.
- This traveling tea box will be US only.
- You will be required to pay for postage when you send the box out. Luckily, tea is pretty light weight and this box will be a small one, so shipping should cost too low.
-In order to keep shipping low, no tins please!
- Buying a tracking number is REQUIRED (it is included with priority shipping if you use that option). You will send this number BOTH TO ME AND the next person on the list.
-Feel free to sample as many teas as you like! :D When I say sample, I mean take enough for one cuppa tea just so you know what it tastes like.
- If you like it, keep it! Just be sure to replace whatever you take out, considering the quality, price, and weight.
- Try not to keep the box for longer than ONE WEEK (we would like to keep the box moving in a fairly timely and efficient manner). Please keep the thread updated when you receive the box and when you are sending it out.
- Follow me and the people who are before and after you in the list so that we can PM each other when needed.
- Please either send the tea in its original packaging or make sure that it is properly labeled with 1) The name of the tea 2) The company that sells it 3) How much tea to use per cup
-Please make sure to package teas appropriately so that strongly scented teas do not contaminate the other teas, and so that no teas escape and wander the box while in the mail.
- Please replace the box if it becomes damaged.
- We’ve kind of made it a tradition to note the weight of the box as it travels through, just for fun. So try to find out the weight and remember it if you can :)

Sure, this sounds like fun. I have participated in both large and teeny tiny tea boxes, and while the large boxes are fun because of the overall amount of tea, the smaller ones are much less overwhelming and easier to deal with in a short amount of time. (Plus, I’m always looking for more good herbals to try.)

I would love to join!i am just starting my tea collection and I would love to try new ones and share what I have. I hope I’m after you because I am mainly doing herbals because I am nursing. Oh and I am in Indiana.

Is the rule that if you take 3 teas you put 3 back in? Or can you add more then just what you take? I am interested but I want to make sure I know the rules.
Just a suggestion, but should you order the participants by distance to keep everyone’s shipping lowest? That just seems sensible to me, and then the teabox will make a kinda linear journey in a way which is nice too. :)
It wasn’t so when I said that, so maybe it has been rearranged per my suggestion. Either way, I think that’s fantastic. I don’t know if people usually do that or what. ^^ First TTB!
Ah I know why I was confused. It was my mistake. IS this the common practice for TTBS btw?
I’m not sure. I haven’t participated in any but the one I ran a couple of months ago. Sorry! Maybe someone here with more experience knows :)
This is my first tbb but I did look at a few old one to get an idea of what they were like before I joined this one. The ones I looked at were ordered by location.
