Thanks! Sometimes I wonder if I write too much. I think a lot of people don’t want to spend the time reading so much, so I’ve tried to break it into sections and put headlines in so people who only want to know about the tea can more easily find that information.
I haven’t read the book (I know I know), and I still thought it was great.
Really, really, really, you should go read the book. Really. And then the rest of the series, and his Dirk Gently Holistic Detective series… Really.
This blend sounds awesome! On January 1, I said that the Hitchhiker’s Guide was the one book I MUST read sometime this year. Haven’t yet but I’ll make it a point to get to it!
OK, the minute I read the words “Pan-Galatic” I started jumping up and going YES! YES!
I’m terribly excited.
When I was a child, my mother would make special crepes once or twice a year. She would put some sliced bananas in the crepe, roll it up and drizzle it in homemade caramel and top it with a bit of orange zest. It was to die for. Bananas and caramel most definitely DO mix.
I have to say, unless kickstarter stuff you’re doing becomes much more reasonable/closer in price to what I can get through the website, you’ll rarely get backed by Canadians (or at least the ones i know). While i applaud what you’re doing 4 iced teas for 10$ + 15 for shipping brings that to a heft 25$ for 4 teas. If i go to your online store today, i can pick the teas i want and only pay 14.95.
I apologize for that. I don’t blame you. The problem is that Kickstarter only allows me to set one price for International shipping, and the last two Kickstarters we’ve done, we’ve gotten BURNED on International shipping bad. I contemplated not offering International shipping at all this go round, but decided we could do it for those that wanted to pay a little extra (I figured this would primarily be folks who were new to us). Still it kind of sucks and I understand your frustration.
FYI, we had some issues with the discount not working, but it should be working now. Sorry about that.
Not so crazy with the new tea. I’ve had awesome fruit salads topped with various Masala spice mixes. It’s especially awesome with melons, probably one of the more dangerous but tasty street food a I had in Delhi, along with Chat.
