One cake of Mandala's 2012 Wild Monk left!

Yep! Crazy. I posted it and then I think everyone thought it was gone and didn’t even try to order. I am in the pu’er vault right now looking at a lone cake of Wild Monk. I can’t believe it’s the end of the 2012 version. Bittersweet. But the 2014 version is very nice, too… just not the age.

Awesome! I’m glad the last cake went to a good home. Congrats on the sales and the wild popularity of the wild monk! It truly is a great tea. I’m hoping to keep one of my cakes for a couple decades. I’d love to taste this one as an aged sheng!

I set aside 7 cakes for myself. I want to age this a good long time. With the tight compression, this stuff, stored properly is a tea-riffic candidate for long-term aging. You and I can compare notes in 20 years!

I’m in! 20 years is a long time though… just thinking about what I was doing 20 years ago… wow! It will be fun to revisit this tea when the time comes. Now I just gotta try that 2014 cake in the mean time! ;)

ha! 20 yrs ago… hmmmm…. I was in my last of 5 years of living in a boat on the Mississippi River… oh, the places we’ll go!! 20 more years, I’ll be 67 yrs old, comparing tea notes with you after a nice long yoga session!

I seems to get Mandala packages 4-5 days sooner than anything else from the US. Must be magic (and I’m sure he won’t tell us his secrets). ;))

boychik – Thanks, I felt sorry for the poor little last cake all by itself, seemed not one wanted it. I’ll give it a nice loving home. :)) I posted pics of the yixing on the “what did you get in the mail today” thread.

Dex we are yixing twins with that pot. Mine has already gotten here – you are going to love yours – so very adorable and nice quality

So happy that you like your pot too, I think it is so cute, I think I’m going to change my plans and use this one for shou pu’erh and season it with Noble Mark. :))
