Bee Pollen Herbal Tea

Lots of people add honey to their tea, but this is interesting. Has anyone tried it?

Interesting! I don’t know much about bee pollen, but you can get it in a pill form at health stores and some people who work out a lot and eat healthy will take this as a supplement…I think Tosca Reno (The Eat Clean Diet) mentions bee pollen in her book? I could be getting it mixed up with another work out book/person though.

Yes you can! That’s what caught my eye. I take it so I’m thinking if I can add it to a tea and it would give it a pleasant flavor (does it taste like honey) then that’s one less pill (and I take a lot) that I have to take every day.

I have no idea what it tastes like, but I have been wanting to get the supplement in pill form for a while now.

I have passed by bee pollen MANY times in the Organics section of my store, and pondered about if that was something I could add to tea. I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be sweet or not (I remember looking it up, and as a supplement, not a sweetener—I was thrown off because they had it right beside the honey and other organic sweeteners—it’s meant to be nutty tasting?). I actually considered it as an interesting possibility in a tea blend. Maybe with chamomile or something.

I kind of want to try some. Looks crunchy.
