NEW TO TEA? Let me start your cupboard! *WINNERS*!!!
After years of trying new teas and learning what I REALLY like, I am left with a LOT of unfinished tea. Some of it is excellent and furthered my tasting journey; others are simply not my cup. I would like to offer one or two (new or lurking) Steepster members the chance to start their tea cupboard with a bang. I’m offering black, white, green, herbal AND oolong. I can pretty much guarantee you will like something!
Here’s all I ask:
-You must already have a few tasting notes on your Steepster page.
-Please try the teas you receive. If you dislike one, pass it to someone else.
-Please post your tasting notes on Steepster…good or bad.
-Let me know if you will NOT drink any of the below teas. (I’m sure they can find a home elsewhere.)
-Let me know when you receive the package.

Lena – I’m not entering (I certainly don’t need tea so therefore don’t want to rob someone else the opportunity to get their cupboard started) but I did want to say that this is a fabulous idea. Very cool!
(Not entering either- just plugging lol) The WuYi and Dancong Aria are 2 of my fave oolongs- along w/ the Ti Kuan Yin featured today- yummy stuff:)
I’m interested. I’m still feeling my way around the communitiy here and since its so hard for me to find leaf tea where I live, this would be a good opportunity for me.
Awesome gesture. Not entering as there are only a few I would probably enjoy. I might have to do something similar to get someone started.
Not my tastes either except for the 2 I mentioned and sencha, but I love that everyone’s tastes are so different. I’m sure this will make someone very happy. :) That’s a lot of tea. I’m a sample kinda girl so those volumes make my head spin hehe;)
Not entering but AWESOME offer and idea. With so many teas I am sure these can go to those less fortunate. However, I would be curious to try “White Blueberry” some day perhaps I will order some. :-)

Also I just you are announcing the winner on my birthday – haha.
Haha – coolness – I think August is the best month to have a birthday because it has no major holidays so its like you get your own personal holiday :)
That, and you’re more likely to get sweet summertime gifts haha
I’m pretty new to teas and have been trying a few different ones from various companies. Would love to get in on this if possible. I switched to tea after ditching a nasty soda habit and I’ve never been a fan of coffee. Tea is for me.
