Adagio's False Advertising?

I’ve started seeing advertisements for Adagio online- specificially in my yahoo mail. One of the teas featured is their Rum flavored black tea which is unfortunately discontinued. What’s up w/ that? Has anyone else seen it?

I wish Adagio ads were what popped up in my ads. I always get ’MAGICAL STOMACH REDUCTION PILLS RX99 YAAAAY!" pop-ups instead.

LOL too funny. I actually bet the Adagio ads are old and were never updated.

I mean, it really doesn’t surprise me coming from them… but still. I see “rum tea” on a daily basis and I WANT!

Their rum tea shows as being available for me.

Just checked yet again. It’s sold out according to my computer. I was told 6 months ago they were discontinuing it.

Now you have me intrigued. I was able to add a few tins to my shopping cart, but I didn’t take it all the way through the process. At what point do they tell you it is no longer available? Maybe I’m not even looking at the correct site. I’ve linked to a screen shot below so you can let me know if I’m totally lost.

What is that site? lol. (It’s not adagio.com so I didn’t even bother checking) http://www.adagio.com/flavors/rum.html?SID=4e266de191a243e129701aabed2e0490

Cofftea that was just a screen shot of what he was looking at on Adagio and it is odd he was able to add it to his cart. On my end it isn’t available. However, it is possible they are selling what is left and he may be closer to a warehouse that still has it in stock and we are not. Although, I am certain after a while it too will no longer be available. It was Zack Luye that mentioned they were discontinuing the rum tea on one of his Adagio TeaV episodes. However, I do vaguely recall that they were planning on keeping it available for their Signature Blends but just that. However, I could be wrong.

Ah ok that’s for the clarification Rachel. It is weird Paul. I’m very jealous:) You are right about it being on hand for a signature blend… so maybe I’ll make one that’s ALL rum! lol

Unfortuantely it would be 2x the price as just getting it thru the flavors section of their site…

That is a bummer…but still an option for the desperate.

Right, thanks Rachel. I was trying to show that I could get to the site and add that tea to my cart but I guess that’s not helping anyone else out ;-) I just thought it odd that they were dynamically controlling availability based on location- sorry, it’s the software geek in me.
