52teas NEW Tea of the Week and Teas of the MONTH Subscription Plans!

I’ve been wanting to do this forever. It took a bit of insomnia to actually get it done. I hope I’m as pleased with the results in the morning as I seem to be now, but I thought I would see what you guys think.

We are now offering Teas of the MONTH subscriptions as well as Tea of the Week subscriptions. You get the same teas, just less frequently, which saves us some money on postage, which savings we are happy to pass on to you.

In addition, I spent some time beating my head against the USPS First Class International Postage Rates tables and I’ve even managed to find a way to save our overseas customers some moolah. For weekly subscriptions, they still have to pay $2 extra per week to ship overseas. But monthly subscribers only have to pay $6 extra per MONTH! This is as much as a 30%+ savings on shipping with a one year subscription. Here are all the details: http://www.52teas.com/2010/08/06/new-tea-of-the-weekmonth-plans/

I probably did this wrong. I might look at my spreadsheets in the morning and scream. So, you might want to get on this now. I’m going to bed. Goodnight.

Haha – I’ll be the first to comment! I think this is a great idea – oh how I wish I had more money!

I know Caitlin- it’s just too much up front in one lump sum. Kinda like paying for a new car in cash:)

I know, but when I graduate college…and grad school…and pay off loans this goes straight on the shopping list -haha

I’m adding this to my mental Christmas list. Since I bought one of the clearance boxes and some of the new matcha flavors, I figure I’m pretty well stocked on tea for quite a while…but I do think this is fantastic :)

I have been contemplating subscribing for some time. My biggest concern with it is that what if Frank happens to blend something that doesn’t sound appealing to me. It doesn’t happen very often, but it does occasionally happen. (My pocketbook wishes it happened more often than just “occasionally”)

I will continue to consider it though.

I just have one word for you on that concern: Re-gift.

Or you could just only make teas that I’ll like. :)

I will be hitting up one of those plans when I start my new job at the end of the month!
