If there is any question about the value and benefits of our training, please read a few of the testimonial comments from our students on www.teamasters.org/testimonials.html.
Don’t delay. Time is short. If interested in becoming a Certified Tea Master™, visit www.teamasters.org/certification-tuition.html today and post your $250 tuition-deposit.
If our tuition is too costly for you, even with the $500 discount, we would like to suggest buying our new 190-page book, Tea Mastery – Pursuing Your Journey Into Tea. It follows the rigorous curriculum for training a Certified Tea Master™ and comes with 38 different teas for tasting and evaluation, 100 extra Tea Evaluation Forms, and the opportunity to become a Certified Tea Professional™. Visit www.teamasters.org/teamasterybook.html for details.
Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions.
Unfortunately even $250 is a burden for me right now, but I’m REALLY interested so I’ll probably go the book route. What’s the difference between a CTP and a CTM?
Just for the record, CTP refers to Certified Tea Professional™ and CTM refers to Certified Tea Master™. The CTM designation is awarded to students who successfully complete one of our training programs, a blind tea tasting for evaluation, and a final examination. The process is time-consuming for me and my assistant trainers.
Our book, Tea Mastery – Pursuing Your Journey Into Tea. and its 38 tea samples, is an independent experience for the reader leading up to their applying for the CTP designation, which doesn’t require our teaching, training, or consulting.
No, that will not be possible. The CTM program gets into a number of things that we simply could not address in the book. Like personal consulting, developing an effective business plan, creating an extraordinary web site, sampling 15-20 high-end, rare, expensive teas, etc. To offer the book as a way to obtain the CTM designation would diminish the value of our training and the credential itself.
I also am very interested actually in both CTP and CTM , I am with Cofftea at this point though where even the $250.00 is a burden. I have heard such wonderful things about both of these programs though and cannot wait until I am able to partake!
Thank you for your kind comments, which are much appreciated. Your response is quite common to us, especially since we are facing an acute economic contraction. My suggestion is to purchase our book, Tea Mastery – Pursuing Your Journey Into Tea. It comes with 38 different teas for tasting and evaluation, 100 extra Tea Evaluation Forms, and the opportunity to become a Certified Tea Professional™. Visit www.teamasters.org/teamasterybook.html for more information.
I noticed that you offer a student membership for ATMA membership…I was just wondering if you have student discounts for the lessons/book as well?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a student discount on our book. However, if you wish to pay by check instead of credit card, you may deduct 5% from the $195 cost or $9.75, and then add the Shipping & Handling ($8.75 U.S., $11.75 Canada). The 5% is the amount we have to pay our credit card merchant provider for such purchases. If you wish to do this, let me know by email at [email protected].
